Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Westbrook Drift Legal Group is a Nashville practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about client files into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
