Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Amberfield Linden Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for client files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
