Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Mill Care Services Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
