Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Bridge Facilities and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
