Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Mill Care Services and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
