Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Greenridge Fox Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around New Orleans, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about attendance records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
