Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Westbrook North Community Partners is a Nashville charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
