Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Quill Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with document review. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
