Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Silverline Vista Community Partners Group runs community programmes across Oakland. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 189 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about benefits enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
