Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Redstone Granite Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Charleston supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
