Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Bluepeak West Legal Group is a Cincinnati practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 562 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about trust accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
