Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Telecom Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about field visits into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
