Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Harborlight Lakeside Care Services supports families and individuals in Madison with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
