Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Rivermark Linden Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Spokane region. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about hardship programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
