Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Rivermark Beacon Community Partners Group runs community programmes across Phoenix. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Turn requests about volunteer shifts into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
