Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Clearpath Ridge Insurance is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about policy renewals into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
