Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Redstone Union Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for court deadlines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
