Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Cobalt Early Learning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
