Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Bluepeak Rowan Care Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
