Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Clearpath Granite Community Partners runs community programmes across Baltimore. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
