Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Northwind Summit Early Learning is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
