Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Bright Lantern Pharma develops and makes medicines in Pittsburgh, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about cleanroom operations into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
