Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Rivermark Vista Community Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
