Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Foxglove Lantern Medical Group is a Oakland company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 352 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
