Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Ironwood Lakeside Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for client files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
