Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Highbridge Birch Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Boise. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
