Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Redstone Beacon Community Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
