Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Cedar Nest Financial Holdings provides savings, lending and payment services from Richmond. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about customer onboarding into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
