Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Ironwood Granite Financial serves customers across Albuquerque with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about payment disputes into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
