Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Fernwood Logistics runs classrooms and tutoring across the Dallas area, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Families are partners. What you will do • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
