Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Greenridge Ember Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Reno producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 994 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about batch records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with batch records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
