Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Rivermark Summit Pharma Group is a pharmaceutical company in Honolulu producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with release testing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
