Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Bright Drift Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Anchorage. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about scheduling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
