Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Rivermark Quill Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for intake forms, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about intake forms into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with intake forms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
