Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Greenridge Sparrow Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Little Rock, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about usage data into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
