Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Redstone Thistle Pharma develops and makes medicines in Oakland, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 135 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about cleanroom operations into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
