Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Foxglove Bright Financial Group is a financial-services company in San Jose, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
