Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Quill Health Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
