Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Rook Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 652 people based in Providence. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
