Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Portland, OR)

Ironwood Field Financial is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 603 people based in Portland. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about regulatory reports into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
