Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Portland, OR)

Highbridge Birch Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Portland. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Turn requests about equipment calibration into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
