Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Portland, OR)

Clearpath Vale Financial is a financial-services company in Portland, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Turn requests about customer onboarding into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
