Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar Loom Pharma Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for quality documentation, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about quality documentation into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with quality documentation. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
