Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Pittsburgh, PA)

Highbridge Timber Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Pittsburgh, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
