Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Forge Care Services and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with licensing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
