Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Harbor Care Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
