Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Phoenix, AZ)

Lumen Summit Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Phoenix area. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
