Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Corner Water Authority and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about capital projects into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
