Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Phoenix, AZ)

Greenridge Pine Community Partners is a Phoenix charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about volunteer shifts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
