Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Umber Transit Planning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 418 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about route schedules into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
